What can I do for You?

Photography and photo-editing
Need photos for your website, social media, campaigns, printed on a wall or just to look at in private?
I can shoot your products, events, staff and people. Or even the top of your house from the sky using a drone.

I can also edit your photos using Photoshop and Lightroom, changing the mood or style of a picture completely. Want to remove blemishes or objects? Not a problem.

Video pre-production: scripting, storyboarding, location-scouting, scheduling, budgeting
The main ingredient of a great video or movie is the STORY.
Most of the time that means doing some pre-work for a video because just hoping that something interesting is going to happen is not a fail-proof strategy. Usually it leads to wasted time and money. On the other hand a well-made script and storyboard can save you both.
Video Production: film, light, record audio
I use professional-level camera, sound and lighting equipment to capture moments in the best way possible.
It's possible to turn a dull environment or action into an exciting one on the screen, show things from a perspective that people usually don't see.

Good audio is often overlooked, but in reality it can be even more important than good-looking video as it's easier to get into the story with terrible video quality, but bad audio can completely ruin the experience.

Post-production: editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics and special effects
- Editing means cutting out unnecessary parts or bad takes, setting the pace for a video, joining together various clips, etc.
- Color Grading means adjusting the lighting, adding or removing colors, changing the mood of a video by using different tones
- Sound Design is adjusting audio levels, adding music and sound effects, removing unwanted sounds, etc.
- Motion Graphics are animated elements like titles, lower thirds (name titles), transitions, infographics, etc.
- It is possible to create all sorts of special effects using overlays, removing or adding objects and backgrounds, adding 3D elements, and much more.
Marketing
What's the point of paying for a great video if nobody gets to see it? That's where distribution comes in.
I can help you with setting up a marketing plan for a project - where, how and when to share the materials; how to tie it into your business to make it more profitable.
YouTube strategy & management
I can take the burden of learning and keeping up with a major video platform off your shoulders. As YouTube is more complex than most other social media channels, many business owners and marketing specialists find it hard to navigate in the world of YT. It's one thing to browse through videos, but a whole another thing to actually understand what makes for a great title or thumbnail, how to make people watch through your whole video and subscribe to come back.

With over 6 years managing and creating content for various YouTube channels and constantly keeping up with the trends and changes, I can help you achieve your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?
The price of a video depends on a lot of different factors.
1. If needed, who does the pre-production - stcriptwriting and storyboarding, location scouting, talent search?
2. When and where is the shooting taking place? How many locations?
3. What kind of gear does the shoot require? Does it require hours to set-up and pack down or not?
4. Can it actually be done by one person or does it require a whole team?
5. How time-consuming is the editing process? Will it need motion graphics, special effects, subtitles, alternative size formats? Has the music already been found?
6. Do you want to keep the raw clips? (External hard drives and cloud memory stack up fast)

So get in touch, let's figure out what you actually need and can afford, and then I'll put together a detailed price offer.

What does the process look like?
There are 5 phases:
1. Pre-production - we figure out what exactly it is that you need and then put together an action plan for that.
2. Film production - we shoot on location. This could be at your office, event, in a studio setting, somewhere outdoors and so on.
3. Post-production - editing, color grading, sound design, motion graphics, etc.
4. Finishing touches - you can ask for changes and corrections on the edit. If needed, we can shoot additional clips.
5. Distribution - where, when and how is the product shared with viewers? It might need special licences for certain platforms. Does it require stills, thumbnails, copywriting to go along with the video?
Can you add subtitles?
Of course!
Subtitles can be done in two versions depending on the use case:
1. Burned into the video so they're always visible on the video. Great for using on TV screens at events or social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
2. As a supporting SRT-file that allows you to turn on and off the subtitles, for example on YouTube and Vimeo. This allows changes, additional languages, resizing on command and also leaves the video file untouched.
What about music licencing?
For my videos I have used music from different paid music licencing platforms, such as StoryBlocks, Epidemic Sound, Artlist and LickD.
Different platforms have different rules for distribution, but it's all paid for and there shouldn't be any problems with sharing your videos.
In case there happens to be a copyright strike, contact me and I'll have it cleared.

If you have an exact song or type of music you'd like to use, let me know beforehand, so we can figure out the licencing, plan and shoot according to it.

What kind of gear do you use?
I use modern professional camera, audio and lighting equipment by Canon, DJI, RODE, Aputure, Godox, Manfrotto, Atomos, PeakDesign, SmallRig and many others.

I regularly invest in new, improved gear to keep up with the industry standards.

What programs do you use?
I use Adobe Creative Cloud on a MacBook Pro Max for all my work.

For videos that means Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects.
For photos Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
For graphic design Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
